Description
The Dodeca Ring has a 12-sided ‘dodecagon’ shape, both inside and out. There is a reason for it. On the inside, the faceted corners provide extra breathing room for the skin around the finger. The unique shape, while still maintaining proper ring size and retention, inherently has some reserve volume to it. When compared to a traditional round ring of the same size, the Dodeca gives a more comfortable fit throughout the day, and is also more forgiving to remove, if you ever want to take it off.
This run of Dodeca’s is made from Orange Jute Canvas Micarta with a laminated center layer of Black G10. The ‘Sedona’ Jute Canvas Micarta, having a deep-orange color binding resin, is made by Vibe Composites in Europe. The Black center-stringer is a USA made G10. The materials are laminated together and then CNC machined into the 12-faceted Dodeca shape. Each of the facets is then polished to reveal a shine on top of the crisscrossing micro-scallops, which is the Dodeca’s signature surface texture.
The Wide Band style is available in sizes 9.0 – 10.0, and the Narrow Band style is available in sizes 5.0 – 7.5. This is a custom material layup, making these sizes only available until the initial inventory has been depleted.
The Dodeca’s sizing fits true to US ring size standards in a ‘comfort ring’. Please know your correct ring size before ordering. Exchanges can be difficult due to limited availability in these custom runs.
