Description
The Dodeca Ring has a 12-sided ‘dodecagon’ shape, both inside and out. There is a reason for it. On the inside, the faceted corners provide extra breathing room for the skin around the finger. The unique shape, while still maintaining proper ring size and retention, inherently has some reserve volume to it. When compared to a traditional round ring of the same size, the Dodeca gives a more comfortable fit throughout the day, and is also more forgiving to remove, if you ever want to take it off.
This is a special run of Dodeca’s that I made, using layered Walnut Veneer (stabilized) with Black binding resin. The black layers separate the wood grain, showing off a very organic look, and each of the 12 facet surfaces have a satin-finished shine on them. I first CNC-machine these using a special workholding process, and then I hand finish each ring individually. The rings are given a coat of Tru-Oil and then once dry, they are given a final hand-rub of beeswax. The Wide Band style in sizes 9.0 – 12.0 are available, until the initial inventory has been depleted.

The Dodeca’s sizing fits true to US ring size standards in a ‘comfort ring’. Please know your correct ring size before ordering. Exchanges can be difficult due to limited availability in these custom runs.
